Scrabble Accomplishments:

Oct. 2014-Mar. 2015: Won 14 of first 15 tournament games. Won division in first three tournaments.

Nov. 2018: Won first division 1 tournament.

Oct. 2019-Nov. 2019: Won division 1 tournaments in back to back weeks.

2020-Present: Featured regularly as a guest expert on Twitch and YouTube. Provided live commentary for the largest tournaments across North America, including the Scrabble Players’ Championship and the Word Cup.

Mar. 2021: Won first 2-day tournament, “HOPPY,” a virtual event featuring several top competitors in North America, when play moved online during the pandemic. It was billed as the largest online Scrabble event to date.

May 2021: Represented team Canada in the online “Can-Am” match against the American team. Finished as the top Canadian in the field, posting a 2-1 record against both of the top seeds (including a former world champion).

May 2022: Won first live 2-day tournament, hosted by the Montreal Scrabble Club. Went 10-1, clinching victory with 2 rounds remaining.

July 2022: Posted the 2nd highest performance rating (2121) in the Word Cup, which drew top players from across the continent. Nearly won the $10,000 title, leading as late as the afternoon of day 4 (of 5), and still in contention to win as late as round 30 (of 31).

Sep. 2022: Swept the field against five of the game’s best players in a one-day tournament in Toronto. Posted a performance rating of 2916, one of the highest in North American tournament history.

May 2022-Oct. 2022: Went on a stretch of 24 wins to 2 losses over the span of 4 consecutive NASPA events, all featuring expert division 1 opponents.

Oct. 2022: Surpassed the rating threshold of 2000, an unofficial cutoff for the best players in the game and a level few players ever reach. Took 221 tournament games to achieve this rating, one of the fastest ascents in North American history. This rating placed as high as #11 in North America in the NWL lexicon. Across both the NWL and CSW lexica, ranked #1 in Toronto and #4 in Canada.

Mar. 2023: Volunteered as a guest expert in the Scrabble for Literacy event, which raised over $100,000 for literacy. Led a team (among whom included August Winter of the Oscar nominated film “Women Talking”) that won the event.
